02.Watch Videos

Watching videos on MoviesPlanet is easy. Read this page to learn how.

How do I watch videos?

To watch a video, you first need to find the movie or tv-show you're looking for - Run a search on the site to find the film or tv series you'd like to watch; This can be done from the homepage search box, magazine, the search box at the top of the site, or even the advanced search page.

Performing a search on the site will bring back the relevant titles for your query. There are more than 500,000 of your favorite titles indexed on MoviesPlanet.

Select the movie/series you'd like to watch from the search results to enter its profile page. The profile page features all information relevant to that particular film or series. On every MoviesPlanet TV Show or Movie page there's a top-right corner button that reads "Watch online"; Clicking this button will take you to the links page where you'll find all the streaming video links categorized by season and episode for shows, or other categories for movies. In case of a TV Series, the current season of a show will always be at the top.

If on a series page, click on the episode you want to watch, that episode name will open up to show the different links available for it.

MoviesPlanet indexes video links. We do not host the actual videos. Videos are hosted by different sites which MoviesPlanet does not control. Some videos are restricted to certain zones or countries. If you are within the U.S., you should also be able to watch videos from sites like ABC, NBC, CBS, Hulu and others.

I am having a trouble watching some videos. Now what?

Most video sites require Adobe's Flash Player to play the videos added to their site. We suggest you make sure that you have the latest Flash Player version. Other sites stream their videos using WMV format which requires Windows Media Player and for some you might even need to install QuickTime to watch videos online.

Sometimes links to videos break because those videos have been moved or removed, in which case you can use the "Report" button to submit a broken link report or simply click the "broken" rating icon to move the link down in the list. In some cases, it really is a case of a broken link, however, often a video just needs to finish loading. To enable to video to load, pause that video for a few minutes merely just one second after it starts playing so that it can load properly, then click the play button.

Does watching videos cost anything?

MoviesPlanet is a free website. The links on MoviesPlanet point to free videos. Please remember that MoviesPlanet offers links to other websites which are not controlled by MoviesPlanet, some results could refer you to a video you might have to pay for - If that is the case, we suggest giving a negative rating to that link. Please remember that if you choose to join a service that you have to pay for, that service is not provided by MoviesPlanet and we cannot provide any support for it.
