When a general's daughter, an army captain in psychological operations, is found murdered, two warrant officers are brought in to investigate. The young woman was staked down with tent poles, strangled, and presumably raped. But what the investigators find is even more bizarre, relating back to her days at West Point and involving the general himself and his aide. The daughter's one confidant also ends up as an apparent suicide and is assumed to be the culprit. Cover-ups and sexual scandals rampage throughout the film.

Sunhill:
I thought you hated places like this.
Brenner:
I do. However the murderer might be in here; sitting in here, all smug and shiny... until we walked in. And now they're a little less smug and a little less shiny... and I think that's pretty cool, don't you?
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Paul Brenner states, "Colonel, you're in the Army. You have no rights to an attorney. You have no right to remain silent." Both are false based on the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

With more than a million titles, it isn't feasible to handpick recommendations for every film. That's why we came up with a formula to suggest titles that fit along with the selected one. The formula uses factors such as user votes, genre and keywords to generate an automatic response. The system produces relevant results most of the time but since recommended titles are not manually chosen, occasionally they may include less than perfect matches.
