Couch potato Roy Knable buys a new satellite & TV system from a mysterious salesman named Spike after his wife, Helen demolishes their TV in frustration. What Roy doesn't realize is that the satellite is a soul-collecting route to Hell. During an argument one night, Roy and Helen are sucked into a warped version of cable TV - 666 channels of bizarre programs, each designed to collect the souls of Spike's customers. Roy & Helen find themselves caught up in shows such as "You Can't Win" (a game show), "Northern OverExposure", "Driving Over Miss Daisy" and a cartoon sequence called "RoboCat", as well as "Duane's Underworld" and "HTV". When Roy makes it through the trial period without losing his soul, Spike discharges him, but keeps Helen hostage. Now Roy must re-enter this bizarre world of Hell Vision TV if he ever wants to see Helen again.

Roy Knable:
Boy, this is strange!
Helen Knable:
Strange? I'm a cartoon mouse wearing high-heel running shoes. The word "strange" is somewhat lacking.
Continuity: The remote is still on the table in front of the kids after the Dad is zapped back into the TV to find his wife.

With more than a million titles, it isn't feasible to handpick recommendations for every film. That's why we came up with a formula to suggest titles that fit along with the selected one. The formula uses factors such as user votes, genre and keywords to generate an automatic response. The system produces relevant results most of the time but since recommended titles are not manually chosen, occasionally they may include less than perfect matches.
