After his term comes to an end, the former president retires to a small New England town. His neighbors convince him to run for mayor, but, in an effort to keep things honest, the owner of the local hardware store opts to run against him. Naturally, what should have been a fair race turns into an all-out war.

[after kissing Monroe] That was no handshake, you son of a bitch.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): "Hail to the Chief," played at the reception for Monroe Cole, should never be played for anyone except the current president and is inappropriate in that situation. Correct protocol dictates that "The Star-Spangled Banner" should be played as the proper salutation for former presidents.

With more than a million titles, it isn't feasible to handpick recommendations for every film. That's why we came up with a formula to suggest titles that fit along with the selected one. The formula uses factors such as user votes, genre and keywords to generate an automatic response. The system produces relevant results most of the time but since recommended titles are not manually chosen, occasionally they may include less than perfect matches.
