Richard Breggs, a struggling actor in New York, decides on a career move where he will become more aggressive and demanding to jump start his sagging career, when suddenly he wakes up four years later in the year 2004 as a famous actor living in a large mansion in Los Angeles where, with the help of his personal man servant Edward, Richard tries to find out why he got to where he is now and tries to look up his old girlfriend Maggie as well as other old acquaintences whom he apparently pushed away when he turned into a mean, arrogant person whom everyone sees him as now.
