This 70-minute documentary on the life of landmark actor and director Clint Eastwood profiles the career of Eastwood from his early days as a Universal Studios contract player, through his legendary standing as both a superstar and an Oscar-winning director. Written, produced and directed by noted film critic Richard Schickel and narrated by John Cusack, Eastwood himself hosts, giving information and insight to his remarkable filmmaking career. Included are clips from many of the films he starred in and directed including his work on the "Man With No Name" trilogy, the "Dirty Harry" films, "Play Misty For Me" (his directorial debut), "The Bridges of Madison County", "Bird", "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (co-starring Cusack), and the Oscar-winning "Unforgiven."

This documentary is featured on the Two-Disc Special Edition DVD for Unforgiven (1992), released in 2002.
