Movie Plot

A young Hobbit known as Frodo has been thrown on an amazing adventure, when he is appointed the job of destroying the one ring which was created by the dark lord Sauron. He is assigned with three warriors including Gandelf, Aragorn and Boromir. But it's not going to be an easy journey for the Fellowship of the Ring, on the ultimate quest to rid the Middle-Earth of all evil!

Filmed with live actors in black-and-white and rotoscoped, each animation cel drawn over a film frame of an actor. This was the first entirely rotoscoped animated feature.

Mistakes

Continuity: After Gandalf returns to the company of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli as Gandalf The White (wearing a solid white outfit), he accompanies them to the castle of King Theodin. When the group is walking up to the entrance, Gandalf is suddenly shown in his original grey cloak and blue hat. In the next shot, he is wearing all white again.
