#002New Release: Comedy Hall Pass on DVD and Blu-ray: 29/04/11
The latest movie from the Farrelly brothers, the director team who brought us There's Something About Mary, Shallow Hal and other comedies, Hall Pass will be on DVD and Blu-ray on June 14 from Warner Home Video.
The comedy stars Owen Wilson (Little Fockers) and Jason Sudeikis (The Bounty Hunter) as married guys whose wives, Jenna Fischer (TV's The Office) and Christina Applegate (Going the Distance), get fed up of them looking at other women. Fischer and Applegate give their husbands a hall pass out of their marrital obligations for one week, but things get out of control when the wives start having their own extramarital activities. Richard Jenkins (Eat Pray Love) and Stephen Merchant (Cemetery Junction) also star in the R-rated film.
Hall Pass got mixed reviews when it was in theaters and grossed $45 million.
Warner has priced the DVD at $28.98 and the Blu-ray/DVD combo at $35.99.

#008Biel And Butler Buy Crew Cupcakes: 07/04/11
Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler treated the crew on "Playing the Field" to cupcakes.
The actors paid for 13 dozen cupcakes from Cush's Grocery and Market to be delivered on set, while shooting in the town of Shreveport, Louisiana, as an end of week treat.
A source told People, "It's a wide variety of cupcakes that she and Gerard ordered for a Friday treat."
Jessica, who recently split from "Sexyback" singer Justin Timberlake, has reportedly been making a number of visits to Cush's during filming, with the Chicken Salad Special proving her favorite order. She has also been a big hit with staff, with one worker calling her "one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people".
Jessica and Gerard are not the only Hollywood starts to extend generosity to their crews when it comes to tasty treats.

#016'The Green Hornet' DVD & Blu-Ray Release Date And Specs: 07/03/11
This year got off to an explosive start on the comic book movie front, with "The Green Hornet" making its premiere in the first few weeks of 2011 and impressing the heck out of us here at Splash Page HQ.
I'll admit to being a bit skeptical of Michel Gondry's take on the classic pulp hero as played by funnyman Seth Rogen, but between Gondry's unique camera work, Rogen's spin on the character, and the awesome work of Jay Chou as Kato, I was a believer when the end credits began to roll. And now we have all the information on the "Green Hornet" DVD and Blu-Ray — just in case you're looking to add the film to your collection, too.
I've pasted the full "Green Hornet" DVD and Blu-Ray specs below, as provided in the official press release from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

#018The Last Airbender dominates the Golden Raspberry Awards: 28/02/11
The 83rd Academy Awards takes place today and as Hollywood gears up for its big night there are those who would argue that the whole awards season is little more than an excuse for industry back-slapping and mutual appreciation. However one ceremony that could never be accused of that is the Razzies - which of course aims to celebrate the very worst in cinematic achievement from the past twelve months - and the 'winners' of 2010 were revealed last night as the 31st annual Golden Raspberry Awards were presented at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, Hollywood.

#020The Last Airbender Cleans Up At The Razzies: 28/02/11
The press screening I attended last summer for M Night Shyamalan's dreadful The Last Airbender was special. I'd never heard so much laughter in my life. But Airbender isn't meant to be funny. Unfortunately when ever characters said ‘bender' in the film, the place erupted into howls – no, gales – of laughter.
Then we all sat through a press conference where M Night Shyamalan talked bollocks for thirty minutes. The annual Razzie awards have been announced in a ceremony across the pond and Shyamalan won big! So did Sex and the City 2. That was a movie that made me question my whole existence. Sitting through two hours and twenty minutes was a punishment undeserved.
