Movie Plot

Kay Freestone, assistant to television network executive Mark McAndrews, shares both a professional and an intensely personal relationship with her boss. When Mark is promoted, she expects him to give her his job. But Mark, with a cold professional eye, refuses, believing that she isn't yet ready for the responsibility. Kay retaliates by murdering Mark, whom she feels has used her, and setting up a seemingly airtight alibi. But Columbo, even with an injured neck, begins unraveling her plan with all the practiced ease of an expert screenwriter.

Mistakes

Revealing mistakes: In this movie, the image of Columbo's car, sitting in the parking lot, can be seen reflecting off the glass of the CNC building as Kay enters it, before she commits the murder.

How do we recommend titles?

With more than a million titles, it isn't feasible to handpick recommendations for every film. That's why we came up with a formula to suggest titles that fit along with the selected one. The formula uses factors such as user votes, genre and keywords to generate an automatic response. The system produces relevant results most of the time but since recommended titles are not manually chosen, occasionally they may include less than perfect matches.
