Eddie Adams would have been just another high-school drop-out had he not met the likes of adult film director Rick Horner. Horner transforms Eddie into Dirk Diggler, a rising-star actor with a special gift. Set in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the film is a tribute to the decor, style, culture, and social attitudes of the era.

Tom LenkFloyd's Kid (Boy) (as Thomas Lenk)The opening scene is three minutes long, taken in a single camera shot, beginning in the street where Jack Horner and Amber Waves drive up and follow them as they get out of the car and walk into a night club. Most of the characters in the movie are introduced in this shot.
Buck Swope:
[to his pregnant wife] How's my little kung fu fighter?
Jessie St. Vincent:
He's kicking ass inside my stomach.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: "At least one time during the scene at Rahad's house, Cosmo tosses a firecracker and the explosion is visible in the background but no sound is made." In fact, you can hear the fizz of a dud.

With more than a million titles, it isn't feasible to handpick recommendations for every film. That's why we came up with a formula to suggest titles that fit along with the selected one. The formula uses factors such as user votes, genre and keywords to generate an automatic response. The system produces relevant results most of the time but since recommended titles are not manually chosen, occasionally they may include less than perfect matches.
