Alex Emanuel is a professional New York-based theater, film and TV actor, as well as indie rock musician, writer and fine artist. As an actor, Alex is a member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA, and has worked on all three coasts. His feature film roles include roles in the films Archeology of a Woman, Grand Slammed, Trooper, Buster (True West, Moondance, Atlanta Film Festivals), Together, Therapy, Reality Lost, 2 Wks 1 Yr (Los Angeles Film Festival), Brother 2, Land of False Clocks and Monotony among other films.Alex's TV credits include roles on Rescue Me, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Hack, Sex and the City, As the World Turns, All My Children, the HBO movie Everyday People, and in The Whitest Kids You Know among other shows. Alex has also appeared in music videos for Laura Cantrell, Amber Rhodes, Elaine Lachica, The Dambuilders, and American Music Club.For good measure, Alex has also done more than his share of short films, including Conquest, Morning Light, SR Stories, 1000 Years of Science, The Perfect Time (Stella Artois contest winner, American Way, Aural Fixation, Talking Richard Wilson Blues (Tribeca Film Fest), Some Mournful Bird, McCabe, Red Lightning, The Rock of Jacob, Killing Killian, Haunt, Tarpaulin, The Seagulls and Shall We Dance among many other titles.Alex's New York stage credits include, among other plays, the premieres of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Open the Dark Door, To Barcelona, Shekinah, Count Down and Live Coverage and Broken Shadows, plus productions of Secrets of Freud and Jung, The Years, Three Days of Rain and other plays.
