Kirsty Mitchell Biography
Kirsty was born in Glasgow and won "The Flower of Scotland" at 17. Along with her modeling career, Kirsty trained at Central School of Ballet in London, and was an accomplished dancer before turning to acting. Her first acting role was in Gillies Mackinnon's 'Small Faces', but Kirsty continued to dance until the age of 24, when she was offered the role of Robert Duvall's daughter in the Scottish/American co production, 'A Shot at Glory', and the role of Mhari in 'The Legend of the Loch' in the same week. Kirsty then decided to give up her dancing career to concentrate on acting full time. Kirsty's beautiful singing voice was also discovered on 'Legend of Loch Lomond', when she was asked to sing lead vocals on the theme song. Kirsty is also a keen guitarist and song writer.
