Jodi Harris Biography
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Jodi had her debut film supporting role opposite Malcolm in the Middle's Brian Cranston in Terror Tract (2000) (she gets her throat cut by a deranged monkey), followed by back to back roles in Universal Studio's hit Bring It On (2000) (as a gym coach who gets thrown up on), in Legally Blonde (2001) (as a shallow sorority girl) and in Phil Hay/Matt Manfredi's Bug (2002).A graduate of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Harris spent much of her post-graduate days as a struggling actress in Chicago's downtown theater scene. After landing a role as Sister Albert Maria in the smash hit "Tony N' Tina's Wedding" at Chicago's Second City, Jodi was inspired to move to the West Coast to pursue her dream of acting in motion pictures and Television.Among Harris' TV credits are "The Practice", "Once and Again", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Frank Leaves for the Orient" and John Malkovich's "The Loner", airing on the Independent Film Channel and Bravo. Harris continues her work in theater in Los Angeles, where she is a member of the award-winning Neurotic Young Urbanites theater group with fellow NYU alumns.
