Jordan Fry Biography
Jordan Fry was a rambunctious young athlete living in a small rural town in central Washington when agent Carlyne Grager discovered his natural talent. Within a few months of gaining representation, Jordan had landed his first role as Alan Arkin grandson Porter, in the film Raising Flagg (2006), directed by Neal Miller.Jordan began training with Groundling's founder, Gary Austin, and top casting directors, Deborah Dion and Joey Paul and shortly after, booked his next lead role as Mike TeaVee in the Tim Burton film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) starring Johnny Depp.After voicing the starring role as Lewis in Disney's Meet the Robinsons (2007), Jordan and his family moved to the Pacific Northwest in order to be closer to ailing family members. While living in the Northwest, Jordan continued to pursue his music, academic and athletic endeavors.Being a gifted musician and songwriter, Jordan, along with his sister, Rachel, were chosen to record the theme song to the television pilot "Dare Ya" in the spring. Jordan was recently inducted into the elite National Honor Society and has earned varsity letters in Swimming/Diving and Soccer and competes regularly with the NBC Universal Triathlon team in LA. He is working toward his black belt in Karate.Jordan remains very active in his church and community- often supporting causes such as "Power of Youth", Read Across America, The Elizabeth Glaser Foundation, United Way, Children's Hospital L.A. Relay for Life and St. Jude Children's Hospital. His next project is a feature film entitled, Child P.O.W. (2012), a WWII drama based on the non-fiction novel of the same name. The film is in pre-production and will be directed by Clare Kilner.Jordan is currently living in CA with his parents Paul and Christine Fry and his two siblings, sister Rachel Fry and brother Joshua Fry.
