Shane Daly was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. He became interested in acting after a car accident in 1989 when he watched a film shoot that featured a close friend.After attending scene classes at a Toronto based studio, Shane caught the eye of his coach who introduced him to his agent who brought Shane onto the roster. After a string of commercials, Shane landed his first role in a Canadian series called "Street Legal" and his first movie, a CBS movie of the week, "Double Jeopardy".Years of playing the "heavy" started to give way to roles that encompassed a wide range of characters as casting started to notice his range. Since then, Shane has been able to rock the screen in shows like Alphas and Rookie Blue and has played the father of "Thad Castle" in Spike's Blue Mountain State, for three seasons.
