Barbara Radecki was born in Vancouver, B.C. and grew up in southern Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. Currently she is based in Toronto, where she lives with her husband, fellow actor, Philippe Ayoub. She received her BFA in Acting at the University of Windsor, where she was awarded the Governor's Medal for achievments in her class. Her latest film, Expecting (2002), marks her first efforts at producing a film she also performed in.
