Actor / Director Profile

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Assaf Cohen grew up in Palo Alto, lived for a number of years in the Middle East, and attended UC Berkeley where he earned a Bachelors degree in Integrative Biology. Later, Cohen continued his classical training by earning a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, under the instruction of legendary acting instructor William Esper. Regional Theater credits include leading roles at South Coast Rep, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Marin Shakespeare Festival, Marin Theatre Company, TheatreWorks, PCPA Theaterfest and The Magic in San Francisco. He has also appeared in various short films and produced a short film as well. Cohen lives in Los Angeles and is an advanced Tae Kwon Do martial artist. He speaks Arabic, Hebrew and Spanish.
