John starred off-Broadway in Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell, and made his off-Broadway debut with Blue Man Group. John is a multiple story slam winner at the Moth in both New York City and Los Angeles. His stories have aired on KCRW, CBC Radio, and on the Moth Radio Hour on NPR. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from the University of California, Irvine. He also trained at the National Ballet School in Toronto, Ontario and danced professionally with Ballet British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.His one man show, Fear Factor: Canine Edition, has toured fringe festivals throughout the US and Canada. The show was chosen Best of the Hollywood Fringe, and Best of the Festival in Orlando, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
