David Garry Biography
David Garry grew up in Higganum, Connecticut. He started off as the lead molar tooth in his elementary school play about dental hygiene, then off to parts in high school, Haddam-Killingworth High School ("Wonderful Town," "Hello, Dolly") for which he won both years the Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Acting. Also in Connecticut: Oddfellows Playhouse Teen Repertory Company ("The Me Nobody Knows, and "The More Things Change"). In New York, community theatre ventures as well as credits/performances at the College of Staten Island and Wagner College. And in Los Angeles, working on "Just Shoot Me", "Lost And Found", "Joe Dirt", and "Eight Simple Rules" closely with David Spade, and as talented dayplayer. Writing credits include "Ox-Pull Libations" produced by Company of Angels, and "Ham & Cheese Heroes" produced by Theatre Neo, of which he's a proud member. Apart from the Entertainment Industry, David also is Camp Director of Jay Nolan Camp, an inclusive summer camp involving kids with/without disabilities/autism.
