Derek "Khalfani" Morgan hails from Spanish Harlem, New York and grew up in the famed Washington Houses. This captivating actor was most recently seen in the Emmy nominated FX Network Mini Series Thief, with Linda Hamilton and Andre Braugher, Heartless the CBS Television MOW and Pizza My Heart an ABC Family Movie. He is fondly remembered as Under-Sheriff Roy Roebuck for the 2 seasons he appeared on the #1 rated drama Joan of Arcadia. Heralded for his unique presence on the small screen, Derek has also been recognized for his charismatic role as Thomas Gibson on Lifetime's For The People and superb work on Judging Amy. Derek is no stranger to major motion pictures and can be seen in such silver screen success stories as Game Day and Wag the Dog. On stage, Derek's lead performance in the critically acclaimed theatrical production of Black Olive, lead to his NAACP Image Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2004.
