David grew up in Montreal, and attended the University of Toronto where he studied Criminology. He went on to study acting in New York at The Lee Strasberg Institute. He appeared on and off Broadway before going on to do television and film.David is best known in Canada as Dr. Josh Gould in the hit TV Series "Naked Josh", which ran for three seasons on Oxygen and Showcase. He also performed the lead role of Jake in the mini series "St-Urbain's Horseman", based on the iconic Canadian Novel by Mordechai Richler.David is also a writer and documentary filmmaker. His documentary "Camp Hollywood" won a Gemini Award in 2006, and can be seen on The Sundance Channel.
