Keisuke Hoashi has starred in more than 60 commercials, including major campaigns for Citibank, McDonald's, Yamaha, Sprint, ING, Bank of America, and multiple spots for Joe Pytka (American Express, IBM, GE).Keisuke created the world's first Martial Arts Musical Comedy, "Memoirs of a Ninja", winning five Maddy Awards, five Garland Award nominations, and was honored as being among "The Best of Theatre 2000" by NiteLife After Dark magazine. He earned another Maddy Award for his portrayal of "Sakini" in "The Teahouse of the August Moon" for FireRose Productions.A graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City, Keisuke holds an MS in Technical Communications from RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) and two degrees in Music and Writing from SUNY Potsdam.He is co-founder and Director of Communications for the New York Summer Music Festival, a summer music camp for young musicians ages 11-25, in Oneonta, New York. His partner, pianist Jungeun Kim, is the Director of Instrumental Accompaniment and Outside Performances at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, PA. Keisuke also serves as the festival's resident actor; photographer; media relations person; video producer; webmaster; graphic designer; and teaches four classes daily in Acting, Advanced Acting, Filmmaking, and Original Musical Theatre.
