Halley Wegryn Gross was born Fort Myers, Florida December 27, 1985. She moved from Sanibel Island to New Jersey when she was 3 1/2. Summer 2004 she earned a certificate with honors from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and January 2008 she has a B.A., magna cum laude from N.Y.U., Gallatin School in scriptwriting. May 2010 she earned a M.F.A. in Drama Writing from The Tisch School at N.Y.U..
