Serge Houde Biography

In 2011, Serge Houde starred as the notorious Mafia Boss Sam Giancana opposite Tom Wilkinson and Barry Pepper in Jon Cassar's multi-Emmy nominated mini-series: The Kennedys. While in Seth Rogen's 50/50, he plays Joseph Gordon-Levitt's father and Anjelica Huston's husband. This time his character is a confused Alzheimer's suffer who still manages to maintain a strong bond with son.Also this year, Houde will star opposite Mena Suvari in the TV Movie No Surrender playing an Investigating Police Detective. Then in a trio of cameos beginning with Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules with Rachael Harris and Steve Zahn, Fairly Odd Parents as the colorful and quirky Mayor of Dimmsdale opposite Steven Weber in this Live-Action film version of Nickelodeon's popular cartoon series of the same name, and then opposite the beautiful Heather Locklear in the MOW He Loves Me for Lifetime TV. Then it's back to playing Bad Guys as he portrays the nefarious Doctor Cyborg in Kevin Tancharoen's Warner Bros. web miniseries Mortal Kombat which has received over 30 million viewings to date.
