Born in Flint, Michigan. His family owned Valley Rubbish Removal. He was springboard diving champion at age 15. Went to Utah for college, graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Economics and raced downhill. Traveled the world skiing in Europe, New Zealand, and North America. Moved to Denver, Colorado, started, ran and sold to a public company; a file management company for hospitals. Got married in the Cathedral of Old San Juan in San Juan Puerto Rico. Honeymooned in Monte Carlo, Monaco and Zermatt Switzerland. Attended the Grand Prix of Monaco and attended the Cannes film festival. Lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for two years and finally moved to Southern California.
