Michael was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has a twin brother Charles. Michael and Chuck were outstanding athletes in high school, where their father was the Head Football Coach. Michael was cast as Brick in a high school production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and from that moment on, the hook was set. Michael continued playing football during his freshman year at University of Georgia, but an injury sidelined him. He majored in theatre and after college moved to New York to study at the William Esper Studio with Maggie Flannigan. There he performed in numerous off Broadway productions and independent films. Living in Los Angeles, he continues to work his craft in the master class of his mentor, Ivana Chubbuck.
