Actor / Director Profile

Studied at Groundling's Theater for improvisation and character development. Advanced to sketch writing and became a member of The Sunday Company. Consequently, Lawson directed, produced, wrote and performed in several of her own projects: "Outloud" , a one woman play; "Family", a one woman mocumentary that debuted at IFP West Film Festival; "U-Turn", a documentary series; "Call Waiting", a mobile TV short which debuted at Palm/Treo Mobifest Toronto Film Fest.; "Oye' Chica", a comedic mocumentary series. In addition, she also trained at Edge Center of Performing Arts for dance.
