Two half-hour series were combined to make this series. Host Orson Welles provided narration and clues for the home viewer. In the first half hour, the viewer was presented a mystery and asked to solve it, with Welles explaining the clues at the end. The second half hour was generally a suspense tale with a surprise ending.
